The Western Slope’s first Circular Transportation Network (CTN) pickup took place Wednesday at Enstrom Candies’ storage space at 630 S. 7th St.
This pickup is part of the state’s Circular Economy Development Center (CEDC), which aims to bolster recycling by connecting businesses, particularly rural ones, with statewide sustainability infrastructure.
In partnership with the Grand Junction Business Incubator Center (BIC), Front Range Transload and B. Kirkland Trucking, Enstrom offloaded super sacks full of plastic film Wednesday morning, making for the first CTN pickup in the region.
